Victorian Silver and Blue Enamel Layered Brooch Late 1800s unmarked silver, probably 800 silver content, has been designed in two layers with unusual construction which I've tried to show in pictures. Upper layer has openwork, engraving and cobalt blue enamel in the shape of 4 conjoined ovals. Base layer is scalloped with each section having cobalt blue enamel outlining a pair of engraved silver wings. Details designs cover the entire piece.

Ceremonial Sterling and Enamel Battle Axe or Lochaber Stunning ceremonial battleaxe or Lochaber chatelaine brooch is marked sterling with white enamel detailing on both parts on the brooch. Very fine, engraved detailing on the shaft and the head is enamel with sterling foliate designs and border.
This early battleaxe chatelaine brooch is in excellent, original and unpolished condition and is a superb quality piece. Pin shaft is quite heavy, slightly bent at the tip. This brooch was probably meant for ceremonial wear.

Victorian Tiger's Eye Figural Brooch This Victorian era pin/brooch is created with two oval and one round tiger's eye cabochons prong set into unmarked silver setting. Vintage Pair of Leaf Brooches with Blue Stones Pair of vintage brooches in the shape of two leaves on stems with a blue stone prong set in each leaf. There is a mark on an applied plate on the back, but it is completely illegible. Leaves are nicely detailed with brushed gold finish and bright goldtone edges.

Turn of the Century Scots Agate Brooch Wonderful Scots agate brooch in a geometric inlay pattern with bands of white, bloodstone, black onyx, jasper, moss agate, and mossy jasper. The agates are bezel set with a twisted wire border and an older C clasp. The metal is unmarked, but I believe it is sterling.
The back has a tag marked "circa 1910" which was there when I bought this piece. Brooch measure 3 x 3/4" x 1/4" deep and is in excellent condition. Nice addition to a collection of Scottish jewelry.

Victorian Sterling Brooch with Hallmarks This is a lovely, Victorian brooch with a series of Hallmarks on the back which are fairly illegible. I can make out an anchor and a knight's helmet, but not the third hallmark. I can also see a letter 'P' in what I assume is the maker's mark.
