Takahashi Mountain Bluebird Hand-painted Brooch
Takahashi Mountain Bluebird is perched on a branch with twisted wire legs. Brooch is hand-carved and hand-painted with wonderful detail and coloring. Although unsigned, this has been confirmed as a Takahashi piece. Created by Yoneguma and Kiyoka Takahashi, each bird was hand-carved and hand-painted in the true colors of each bird.

1930s Vintage Costume Peacock Silvertone Brooch
1930s vintage figural brooch in silvetone base metal in the shape of a peacock with flowing tail. He has a red eye and his tail consists of many feathers all with clear rhinestones and beading.
This vintage costume peacock brooch is in very good, original and unpolished condition with some darkening of the rhinestones, but still looks great. Brooch have had silver plating but there is no sign of it now. Secure safety clasp, 3 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches.

Large, Heavy Sterling Pin--Bird Eating Grapes
This pin is quite reminiscent of an early Jensen brooch and is marked Sterling on the back. It shows a crow or a raven nibbling on some grapes.
This is a vintage pin and has a wonderful patina, with some slight wearing of details. It has a safety clasp and is fairly heavy--not a lighweight at all. Size is 2 1/4 inches.

Vintage Ivory Celluloid and Blue Rhinestone Bird Brooch
Great early pin designed as a bird in flight--maybe a stylized rooster? Pin is probably celluloid, ivory color with a lacquer coating, set with blue rhinestones , a red rhinestone eye and deep red painted beak and claws.
This vintage celluloid pin is in excellent, original condition with clasp cemented to the back with a simple 'C' hook. Size is 2 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches and is quite a showy piece.

Huge Bijoux Cascio 4 1/4 Inch Butterfly Brooch
This is just about the largest pin I've seen in a long time. Goldplate and enamel butterfly pin is 4 1/4 inches x 3 3/8 inches and does it make a statement! The wings are done in shades of orange, gold and dark blue and the wings are curved to add depth to this giant butterfly.
This Bijoux Cascio signed pin is in great, orginal condition with a heavy wire, curved 'C' clasp. You can either wear this or use it as a paperweight!
