I've never seen a mosaic pin quite like this one, and I think it's really lovely. Rectangular shape in gilt brass, marked "made in Italy" with safety pin type closure, the twisted rope edges frame a stunning design of cobalt blue, with red/white accents, a row of grassy green pieces, and a centerpiece of multi-color flowers, cut from glass canes. This is definitely an older piece, probably from the 40s, with very fine detail not found in later pieces. In very good original condition with very slight tarnish around the edges. I don't polish these pieces as I prefer to keep the original patina. 1 3/8 x 3/4" |
