This is a wonderful compact, signed American Beauty, made in U.S.A., on the inside. The front has a brushed gold background with a bright gold Art Nouveau style design of a flower basket with foliate trim along the sides. The back side is a plain brushed gold finish. The shape is geometric with five sides.
This American Beauty compact opens with a push button at the point and the inside is in excellent condition with just a few wear spots visible on the mirror. The powder compartment has a rose color powder puff and appears never to have been used.
This compact is in very good condition with just slight wear scratches on the back. Size is 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 x 1/4 inch deep.
