This is an early sash pin with the old style C clasp in unmarked silver color metal. The borders are curved inward and the design is done in four sections, with applied silver wire in geometric designs, possibly dating this as a transition piece with elements of both Art Nouveau and Art Deco design.
The center of the sash pin is an applied design of graceful, curved flowers and leaves with 3 bezel-set blue, facetted rounds as accents.
This early sash pin is in wonderful, original condition with great patina, which I have left unpolished. Any cleaning I have left to the customer's preference.
Size is 2 1/2 x 2 inches. Great addition to any jewelry wardrobe or collection.
