Although this piece is gilt metal and not sterling, I decided this was the best category for it. This is a large and ornate gilt metal bracelet, signed Marbel S Salvador, Mexico 12. The center is a ceramic mask with a white background and a pink was and cranberry dots--he's pretty scary looking, but he does have a crack which goes through the right eye.
The bracelet is formed of large and ornate hinged links with an Aztec ush clasp as well as a safety chain. Aside from the problem with the mask, this bracelet is in excellent condition and is still very wearable. I've included closeups of the back to show damage and price reflects this. This Mexican bracelet with Aztec design links has a 2 1/2 inch opening and is 1 1/8 inches wide. It is truly a spectacular piece. |
