This fun figural chatelaine style pin of a genie holding his magic lamp is done in white burnished metal with aqua rhinestone accents on his turban, a band at the bottom of his tunic, and on the magic lamp. The gneies face is a large turquoise rhinestone. The genie and his lamp are connected by a matching, double-strand link chain.

There is a matching pair of figural screw-back earrings shaped like the magic lamp with a large rhinestone accent.
This 1930-1940s chatelaine brooch is in very good, original condition with some wear appropriate to its advanced age. On close inspection, a couple of the stones are slightly darkened, but it doesn't detract at all from this wonderful brooch and earring set.
The genie measures 1 1/8 x 2 1/2 inches, the magic lamp is 1 1/2 x 1/2 inch. The connecting chains are 5 1/2 and 6 1/4 inches. The screw-back lamp earrings duplicate the genie's lamp exactly. The The genie pin/brooch has a secure safety clasp and the magic lamp has a safety pin type clasp. All these pieces are fairly heavy casts which give a great sense of dimension to this chatelaine set.
