This necklace and bracelet set has never been worn and still has the original hang tag - Diahann Carroll. I believe this set dates from the late 1950s - early 1960s, during the period when Diahann Carroll's TV show, Julia, was on the air. She was the first black woman to star in her own TV series. Both pieces are made with superb quality baroque glass pearls and are knotted between each bead. The necklace is 32 inches long and goes on over your head. The bracelet is 6 1/2 inches long and has a fish hook clasp in goldtone metal. Both piece are in original, unused condition and have a wonderful, soft patina. The baroque pearls measure 9.5mm each and have nice weight to them. This is a very high quality set and would make a wonderful gift for a special someone in your life.
