These are hard-to-find vintage, handmade foiled glass beads, dating from the 1920s or 1930, either of Czech or Japanese origin. They are handwound with foil and glass overlay..
These beads are clear glass with embedded foil and aqua glass overlay in a disc shape with flattened ends and measure 16 x 14mm. Since these are handwound, there is some irregularity in size and shape of these early foiled beads. pk/4
