This is a somewhat smaller sash pin, dating from the early part of the 20th century, with a stamped and scrolled setting and a large amethyst glass facetted oval center.
This vintage sash pin is in excellent, original condition with nice patina. The large amethyst glass oval is held securely in place by 4 large prongs and the clasp is the early C clasp design. Size is 2 1/4 x 1 5/8 inches. Lovely design elements and light enough to wear on any fabric.
