This is a lovely flower fur clip, 1940s vintage, made in pewter color pot metal with sapphire and crystal, open-back facetted ovals, all of which are prong set. There are also small crystal rounds alternating with the oval petals. The stems with bow have been molded to resemble marcasite.
This vintage 1940s fur clip is in very good, original, unpolished condition. The stones are all present and the clip back is secure. There is slight glue residue visible on close inspection, but does not detract from this lovely dress clip. Dress clips are so versatile - you can wear them on your lapel, on the neckline of a dress, on the cuffs of a shirt or use them as an accent on a purse.
Measurments are 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.
