This is a wonderful, old flag brooch with blue and white rhinestones along with faded red stripes on a soft, silvertone setting. The setting is curved to make it appear as if the flag is waving. The fading seems to add to its charm, at least for me. It probably dates to the 1940s.
This pin is in very good condition, appropriate to its age with some finish loss to both the red stripes and the plating and a few missing rhinestones. Nevertheless, it's still a great piece and I prefer to leave it in original condition. It has a secure safety clasp.
Measurements are 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches.
