Wonderful Victorian sash pin from the turn of the 20th century with a domed, rounded rectangular shape. The cut-out designs have a graceful foliate form with soft engraving.

The center is a bezel-set amethyst glass, facetted oval.
This vintage sash pin is a very high quality piece, with more hand work and substantial weight. It appears that it has a gold wash which has worn unevenly, but I have not tried to polish the brooch as I prefer original finish. Besides the finish, this sash pin is in excellent, original condition, great patina and an old 'C' Clasp. Measurements are 2 7/8 x 1 5/8 x 3/8 inch depth. Fabulous! |
