Victorian Sash pin dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s and is a superb example of its kind. The brooch is domed on each side as well as in the center and has ornate foliate engraving. The applied central design has flowers a leaves surrounding a bezel-set, facetted peridot glass stone. This early sash pin is gilt brass and has wonderful, original patina and has not been polished. It has the old style 'C' clasp and heavy pin stem. Measurements are 3 1/8 x 2 inches. This is a superb brooch! |
