Excellent design by Peruzzi, one of the foremost silver artists in Italy, of Pisces, the fish, another in a series of Astrological symbols done in sterling silver. The design shows a pair of finely details fish swimming through the seaweed with the word Pisces engraved on the ribbon banner.
This vintage Peruzzi brooch is marked Sterling, Peruzzi and is in excellent condition with very little patina. It has a secure safety clasp an is slightly domed, measuring 1 3/8 x 1/4 inch deep.
