This is a wonderful, diamond-shaped pin, marked 'Made in Austria' on an applied plate. It is made in 4 tiers: first is a framed circular looped wire in goldplate, next a diamond shape of light and dark blue round rhinestones, a framed diamond shape of looped goldplated wire and, finally, domed top of navettes, baguettes and a square rhinestone center. All the stones are prong set.
This Austrian brooch is in excellent, original condition and does not appear to have ever been worn. The construction is excellent and the pin has a secure safety clasp. Size is 1 7/8 inches across by 3/4 inch deep. This is a stunning piece at a great price.
