Lovely and large hand-carved shell cameo brooch in a lovely filigree setting which is marked sterling. The setting has a scalloped border and has a floral spray on four sides. The cameo is bezel set and shows a woman with flowers in her hair and a pensive expression on her face. The carving is quite fine and detailed.
This piece of vintage jewelry is in great, original condition with a secure safety clasp. The cameo has no flaws and is simply lovely. Size is a generous 1 3/8 x 1 1/4 inches. Wonderful addition to a cameo collection. |
