This is a beautiful and dainty hand-carved shell cameo in a vermeil setting surrounded by oxblood coral beads. The cameo is bezels set with a twisted wire border. It has an engraved bale and a fine link chain.
This vintage cameo is in excellent, original condition and the brooch is stamped 925 - the gold wash is worn on the back, but the front is excellent. The carving is excellent with nice depth and detailing. Pendant is 1 x 3/4 inch not counting the bale. The chain has a spring ring clasp and is 800 silver with a gold wash, measuring 18 1/2 inches long. Beautiful and unusual piece of vintage jewelry
