This pinwheel design pin has alternating sections of abalone shell and onyx with sterling borders. The mark is somewhat obscured, but I can make out 'Mocampo 925 ..'
This vintage Mexican pin is in very good, original and unpolished condition with nice patina. The safety clasp is quite secure and a little touchy about opening, but does work. The brooch has an applied loop so it could be worn as a pendant. Size is 1 5/8 inches.
