This is one of the most spectacular sets I have ever come across. Both the large brooch and the two strand bracelet have large, open-back, facetted crystals in garnet, citrine, emerald, sapphire, and amethyst glass. The large brooch has the stones prong set in silvertone metal that probably was goldplate originally. The design is stepped, giving it an Art Deco look.
The two strand bracelet is prong set into a simple, open-back setting with jump ring connectors in gilt brass. The two rows are connected at four points along the length to maintain the lines of the bracelet.
This set is in wonderful, original condition with the plate loss on the pin a minimal concern. The brooch has a secure safety clasp and measures 3 x 1 7/8 inches. The bracelet has a push clasp with an emerald glass prong-set as an accent. Measurements are a shade under 7 inches and 7/8 inches wide. The pictures cannot fully capture the beauty of these vintage pieces. |
