This is a very large, Arts & Crafts sash pin made to look like a buckle, with two imitation prongs applied to the main design. The engraved, all-over design is floral and foliate with very fine details.
This early sash pin is in very good, original and unpolished condition with slight wear on the gilt finish appropriate to being around 100 years old. Brooch has the old style 'C' clasp and heavy pin stem and measures a substantial 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches.
