This is a smaller version of an Aquarius brooch, signed Sterling by Cini, in their Zodiac Series, Aquarius, the Water Carrier. It shows a putti pouring water while surrounded by intricate foliate designs, marked Aquarius on the ribbon banner at the base. Aquarius is your sun sign if you were born between january 21 - February 19th.
This wonderful example of vintage jewelry is in excellent, original condition with excellent patina bringing out the fine details. This Cini brooch has a secure safety clasp and measures 1 1/4 x 1 1/8 inches. Great collectible item and a gift to treasure.
