This stunning brooch is signed simply Coro in script on the back and has a wonderful, clean design reminiscent of Art Deco pieces. I believe this brooch dates to the late 1940s, post WWII. The open-back blue, facetted glass crystal is a perfect focal point for the elegant lines of the goldplated setting.
This early Coro brooch is in very good, original and unpolished condition with some surface scratching appropriate to a vintage piece. This brooch has the old style 'C' clasp and measures 3 x 1 1/2 x 5/8 inches deep.
