This is an unusual pair of holloware brooches with an interesting, soft bronzy finish, and a domed center.The repousse designs are classic Art Nouveau with foliate, leafy and fruit designs. The backs are flat and each has an applied loop for hanging pieces--possible a chatelaine.
These two Art Nouveau pins are in excellent original and unpolished condition. The only difference I can see is that one brooch has a safety clasp and the other a simple 'C' clasp. Pins are 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 x 3/8 inches deep. Wear them signly or as a pair to suit yourself. |
