Vintage Trifari trifanium baguette spray necklace and matching earrings, signed simply Trifari, pat. pend, is a late 1940s or early 1950s Alfred Philippe design. Necklace centerpiece has scrolled curls embracing a 4-strand spray of invisibly-set clear baguettes. Clip back earrings have a swirled knot at the earlobe with 3 lines of baguettes dangling from it
This early Trifari necklace has herringbone chains similar to other Philippe pieces, with a foldover clasp.
Necklace and earring set is in excellent, original condition, with all stones sparking. The necklace centerpiece is 2 1/2 x 1 inch, neckline measurement is 15 inches. Earrings have secure clip-backs. 1/2 x 1 5/8 inches.
