I believe this lovely butterfly necklace is an Amita design, judging by the fineness of the inlay depicting traditional Japanese scenes in gold and silver on a blackened brass background. Signed Japan on the back of the butterfly, the neckline is made up of diamond shapes, alternating black with gold and black diamonds.
This vintage Amita necklace is in excellent, original condition and has a secure push clasp with further ornamentation.
Size: Neckline is 14 inches, butterfly is 1 1/2 x 1 inch.
