Large 1940s Oriental Water Carrier brooch has been seen in many books and was attributed to Rice-Weiner, a manufacturer who produced jewelry for a variety of jewelry companies in the 1940s.
This version of the water carrier is goldplated, with blue-green jacket and rhinestone shorts. He is carrying two dangling Venetian glass wedding cake beads.
This vintage water carrier brooch is in very good, vintage and unpolished condition with some enamel loss and slight plating wear and has a secure safety clasp.
