Lovely vintage, hand-carved shell cameo of Demeter or Ceres, goddess of the harvest with strands of wheat woven into her hair is bezel-set into a fine, openwork gilt metal frame.
This vintage, hand carved shell cameo of Demeter is in excellent, original and unpolished condition with the older style 'C' clasp and a faint stress line on the back.
