Vintage, hand-carved shell cameo brooch is bezel set into a twisted rope setting in unmarked gold metal. Unusually larger cameo of a wearing a head dress over her curls. Carving is lovely and probably dates to the early 1900s. Shell cameo is in excellent and unpolished condition and has a secure safety clasp set at an angle and is probably not original to the cameo brooch. Still wearable and lovely piece.
